What is Detailing?
Detailing is the systematic rejuvenation and protection of the various surfaces of your motorcycle. It is not just washing your bike! It is paying attention to the small details that turn heads.
-
Why Detail?
Detailing protects your investment. Detailing your bike regularly increases its resale value.
Docs' Cyclemetics, LLC. uses only the highest quality products. By purchasing products in bulk quantities we are able to pass these savings on to you. Besides do you really what to buy everything needed to detail your bike? Even if you answered yes, that's OK. We recognize for many detailing their steed is a form of therapy akin to gardening. Therefore, we offer many high quality detailing products at great prices.
Detailing makes a great gift! Ask us about gift certificates (Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, Valentine's Day).
-
Why Mobile Detailing?
Besides the obvious convenience of coming to your location, mobile detailing is more valuable. That is, if you take your bike to a detailer there is always the possibility that when you ride home Mother Nature throws a patch of rain or bugs your way.
-
How Often to Detail?
It is recommended your bike be detailed every 3 or 4 months to prolong the life of your bike's finish. How often to detail depends on many factors: how often and under what conditions you ride. We also offer a Quick Wash between detailing.
We have volume discounts for both residential and commercial customers. Call us for more information.
-
How Long Does a Detail Take?
We spend three hours pampering your bike. For those entering their ride in bike shows will require eight hours of detailing (call for price).
-
Is Any Equipment Removed?
Side covers, seat, and detachable saddle bags are removed. These items are then cleaned, waxed (seat is dressed), and replaced.

What is a Gremlin Bell?
Legend has it that a small bell attached to your motorcycle, close to the ground, catches the Evil Road Spirits. The Little Gremlins live on your motorcycle causing all kinds of mechanical problems. The cavity of the bell attracts these Evil Spirits, but the constant ringing drives them insane and they lose their grip and fall to the ground. Have you ever wondered where pot holes come from?

What’s the difference between Docs’ Eyewear and Sunglasses?
When we learned many were wearing ordinary sunglasses as eyewear for riding, we became concerned. Sunglasses are designed to protect the eye from UV light, not projectiles, such as a stone thrown from a tire or even a bug.
Docs’ extremely lightweight and low cost protective riding eyewear offers excellent all-around impact protection. The desirable design combines a sleek, compact appearance with rugged durability, ultra lightweight wear ability and superior optical quality. Docs’ riding eyewear also features a snug fitting, wrap around body that provides improved impact protection around the eyes.
Revolutionary in its design, Docs’ riding eyewear integral unitary lens has two distinct viewing areas; each featuring a 9.75 base curve. Dual curvature results in a wider field of vision.
Scratch-resistant, hard coated 100% polycarbonate lens filters out more than 99.99% of harmful UV-A and UV-B light. Docs’ riding eyewear meets ANSI Z87.1 Safety Standards.
